Before the curtain rises

Before the Curtain Rises is a feature-length documentary for PBS about going to the movies: the history of the exhibition industry and its architectural and cultural significance. The story is told throughout the iconic Texas exhibitor, Interstate Theaters whose movie palaces are featured in the film, along with showing the saving its Plaza Theatre in El Paso, Texas.
